  • If you have ever been so lucky to find west coast sand dollars barried in the surface of the beach you will find the deep rich tone of the purple sand dollar. 

    Once they pass away they turn a smoky tone of purplish white with shades of grey.

    The plates were inspired by finding these live sand dollars at Qualicum Beach.
