A new line of serving dishes and plates. An egg case or egg capsule, often colloquially called a mermaid's purse, is the casing that surrounds the eggs of oviparous sharks, skates and chimaeras.
The glaze is an antique bronze shade resembling the colour of the real mermaid purses, found on the West coast of Vancouver Island.
